The CMCF had appeared at the recent launching ceremony of the newly installed MSC Malaysia Cybercentre@Meru Raya, Perak. Bandar Meru Raya in Jelapang near Ipoh will officially emerge as a cyber centre. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Padang Ipoh whereby the Prime Minister Y.A.B Datuk Seri DiRaja Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was present to officially launch the centre and visited the booths at the event. He was escorted by his wife Y.A. Bhg. Datin Seri DiRaja Jeanne Abdullah and accompanied by Y.A.B. Dato’ Seri DiRaja Mohamad Tajol Rosli Ghazali, Chief Minister of Perak and Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Dato’ Kong Cho Ha. The project is under the State Government’s KPerak2010 initiative. The Executive Director of CMCF was in attendance.
Being regulators of content disseminated through the electronic networked medium, the CMCF had its display space in providing information and education to the general and population of Ipoh.
