Aimed at facilitating industry self-regulation, the COMMUNICATIONS AND MULTIMEDIA CONTENT FORUM OF MALAYSIA (CMCF) is an industry body responsible in governing content and addressing content related issues disseminated by way of electronic networked medium. The CMCF is inviting dedicated and motivated individuals to apply for the following positions:

Operations Executive (Several Vacancies)

The candidate is expected to:

  • research and analyse industry issues in depth, using printed and electronic information sources, telephone, or face-to-face contact with information providers;
  • perform monitoring functions of news sources and reports of industry developments in order to identify emerging industry issues and possible lines of policy development that may be used by the organisation; • organising, commissioning and sometimes conducting research into industry and/or public opinion based on surveys, focus groups, as the case may be;
  • perform drafting and writing briefs, policy papers, articles and speeches;
  • liaise with industry members and the public at large for research purposes;
  • have an excellent understanding in local media environment and able to process good networking relationships with the communications and multimedia industry;
  • report to management about policy issues and preparing papers for various committees;
  • prepare questions and answers for Government related sessions;
  • undertake in-depth research and administrative tasks for the Complaints Bureau, such as organising and running meetings, preparing agendas and taking of minutes for meetings and answering questions about policy from members of the public;
  • have multitasking abilities to facilitate and support in implementing the organisation’s initiatives and activities including but not limited to attending to various meetings and organising organisation events and/or functions;
  • possess excellent writing, editing, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • knowledge of website management and/or company secretarial experience will be an advantage.

Secretary cum Personal Assistant

The candidate is expected to:

  • To manage the daily administration of the organisation’s office;
  • To act as a Personal Assistant to the Executive Director

The candidate must:

  • have multitasking abilities to facilitate and support in implementing the organisation’s initiatives and activities;
  • possess a good command of the English Language and Bahasa Malaysia;
  • possess excellent writing, editing, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • have good organisational skills.
